Warm Water Exercise - Hydrotherapy is a way for people with chronic conditions to exercise with a minimum of stress to joints and sore muscles, utilising the buoyancy of water and adding heat. The temperature of the hydrotherapy pool at Tropicus Centre (Coconut Grove) is around 34degrees C. Both a chair and a sling are available to help immobile participants in and out of the pool. Bodyfit run various chronic condition sessions Monday to Saturday. www.bodyfitnt.com.au Members of AONT receive a discounted class fee of $10 per session.
Note: A medical clearance form signed by your doctor is required for acceptance to the warm water exercise program
Drop in sessions - held Tuesday/Friday 11.30am; Tuesday/Thursday 5pm; and Saturday 4pm - $8.00 hour
