Support Groups

AONT Support Groups provide an opportunity for people with various musculoskeletal conditions to come together to improve their well-being through discusssion and other activities.

Members are more than welcome to join our Support Groups.

Darwin

Darwin Team Support Group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 12.30 at Casuarina Library Meeting Room.

A small group of members in Darwin have recently begun meeting for a cuppa and a chat on last Monday of every month.  Join us for our Conversation Café at 11.00am at the Rapid Café in the Rapid Creek Business Village on Trower Road.

Palmerston

Our long-running Palmerston Support Group meets in the Community Room of the Brennan Electorate Office (near Target) at 10.00am on the third Monday of every month.

Alice Springs

There are no Support Groups currently meeting in Alice Springs. However, we have some wonderful volunteers in Alice Springs who are happy to offer telephone support to arthritis and osteoporosis sufferers in Alice Springs. Contact the AONT office on 8948 5232 and we will put you in touch.

If you are interested in either attending or starting an Arthritis and/or Osteoporosis Support Group, please contact our office on 8948 5232 or email us at development@aont.org.au.

Volunteering can be a fun, rewarding and satisfying past-time. It is impossible to describe how important our AONT volunteers are. Quite simply, without our volunteers, AONT would cease to exist.
